Back when I was still trucking, I got to deliver two loads of foodstuffs to The Presidio, and I was told that Alcatraz could be seen on a clear day from the warehouse I was being unloaded at down by the waterfront. Neither days were clear, however, and there was no time to take a sightseeing tour--much to my disappointment.

For all the times I've been to SF, I've never been to The Rock... Nice scenes.
Very cool shot. I think it would interesting to tour Alcatraz. So much history there.
SF has such unique landmarks and always a fun place to photograph.

We've visited Alcatraz some years back, the cells and hallways gave me the creeps. The island is mysterious, but beautiful! :)
