Taken outside the Botanical Garden directing visitors to the arboretum, the library and the gardens. I took many more signage photos though only a couple came out good. This is the small bookstore which is located at the main entrance. If you like a tight squeeze, this is the spot for you. The shop is so small that if there are three people in there it is crowded. However they have a fantastic variety of books on not just gardens and botany but on San Francisco, Bay Area history and even poetry. There is also a large assortment of handcrafted greeting cards, postcards and maps. The daily guided tours which are conducted by volunteers begin at this spot. I've never taken a tour because I enjoy exploring on my own. Besides I always venture off the pathways into the redwood trails and foliage. Photos take at the Botanical Gardens in San Francisco. Life presents twists and turns around every corner. In order to find the right path we must listen to our intuition which lies within our hearts and will always lead us down the right path.

These were all taken at the Botanical Gardens in San Francisco and these are three different little critters. I got lucky this time with the squirrel population. They usually dash away as I approach. I got very lucky with the above video. I was starting to take a photo of some flowers across the way when I heard rustling at my back. I turned around and found this little squirrel having a snack. I slowly turned the video camera on and began to film. He was so engrossed in his meal he did not even notice me. Ratty, this one's for you. This little guy was in deep contemplation :) I'd also like to give a shout out to Will Oaks Studio and thank her for the award. Walking through the botanical gardens is a journey through not only nature but sunlight and reflections. Walking paths are showing up each day as the renovations continue. These three photos were taken on three separate occasions. I hope you enjoy them.

This is the first time I was able to catch a squirrel so still. I took the shot, he then turned to me for a few seconds then ran away. This was at the Botanical Gardens during my walk. Ratty, over at The Everyday Adventurer , this one's for you. Enjoy!

Before - I took this at the Botanical Gardens and although it came out fine, I loved the colors and wanted to do something different. The result is below. After ~ I deepened the color, added a swirl, pinch and tightened the highlighted center. Enjoy!
