Top of the Castro Theater. Tile artwork outside the theater. More artwork. The LGBT flag proudly flying high at the top of Market Street and Castro. The F Market trolley line which runs down market street, along the Embarcadero and out to Fisherman's Wharf. This flowering plant was at the Conservatory of flowers. I don't know the name but I fell in love with it because it is so unique. I came across this little fire hydrant in Golden Gate Park and it was just so cute, I had to get a shot of it. The Blue and Gold fleet takes tourists on a bay cruise by Alcatraz Island and The Golden Gate Bridge. The Rocket boat which is the red, yellow and white boat takes riders on a lightning fast ride from the Bay Bridge to The Golden Gate Bridge. Click the above widget for more Blue Monday fun . This shot displays the closeup of the shot below which is a series of tile and stone artwork steps that leads to a landing where the views of San Francisco are amazing. It is located in the Sunset district at Moraga and 16 th Avenue. There are hundreds of steps and I wanted to show you a shot of the entire staircase but there were people climbing up and down the stairs while I was there. I didn't want people in the photograph so I snapped a portion of the stairs and the one above with my zoom lens. It is gorgeous to see in person. Here is the website to the info on the project. A portion of the staircase. I always like homes that have some type of artwork displayed for everyone to see. It tells me the artistic spirit is alive and well in these neighborhoods. I went to the cemetery the other day and found this simple painting on the outside of a flower shop. It caught my attention through the grey that envelops your usual cemetery. It brought life and color to the grounds...

Located on the side of an apartment building in the sunset district. Depicts the city background and the N Judah streetcar line. This is a very cute little spot in the sunset district that serves organic eats. I loved the name and artwork. Click here for more Blue Monday fun.

This is the dome of St. Cecilia's Church. It's where I attended grammar school. I like the intricate architecture of the dome so I had to get a shot of it. Click here for more Blue Monday fun.

I came across these blue leaves while going through a pathway at the botanical gardens. They caught my eye because they were a small patch of blue color among a sea of green leaves. They were so unusual I had to get a photo of them. Click here to visit all the other participants in Blue Monday
