Brenda Burke is an artist that celebrates the bond between a Mother and child with a focus on Victorian styles adorned with beautiful flowers and lace. Ms. Liu combines the traditions of Oriental art brush work and her own unique style of ebb and flow to each one of her artistic masterpieces. This plate is the sixth issue in the On Gossamer Wings series and the first collector's plate series ever sponsored by The Xerces Society. This plate is strictly limited to 150 firing days and was issued in 1989. The plate is numbered 7076 C with a BRADEX #84-G20-3.6. It measures 8 1/2" in diameter. The plate depicts three beautifully colored butterflies with pastel imbued flowers and leaves. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or marks.
