Blue Monday and Ruby Tuesday - Flowers, A Fire Hydrant and Boats

This flowering plant was at the Conservatory of flowers. I don't know the name but I fell in love with it because it is so unique.

I came across this little fire hydrant in Golden Gate Park and it was just so cute, I had to get a shot of it.

The Blue and Gold fleet takes tourists on a bay cruise by Alcatraz Island and The Golden Gate Bridge. The Rocket boat which is the red, yellow and white boat takes riders on a lightning fast ride from the Bay Bridge to The Golden Gate Bridge.

That is really a gorgeous plant...some sort of succulent, maybe? Love the hydrant, too. I haven't ever been to Alcatraz Island! And I'm not entirely sure I want to go on the Rocket Boat!!

Thanks to all of you for your kind comments. Very much appreciated.

@Cheryl, It did resemble a succulent but it was not marked so I had no idea what it was I just found it fascinating. I don't think I'd want to do the rocket boat either :)
