Is it just me or do Yul Brynner and the stone lion resemble each other?

I saw the statue and thought it looked familiar, then I saw the photo of Yul Brynner and thought "is that a statue of him?", I looked again at the statue and thought it looked like him. That was before I read your question. So, yes, I think, they look a bit similar.

Beautiful photos, Jo..I love Yul Brynner in The King and I
We were just near there this past weekend. Unfortunately we had quite a bit of rain while there, but it's still my favorite city.

I've never noticed the resemblance, but now that you mentioned it. Ten Commandments used to be my favorite movie so you would think I saw that. :)

Benjamin, I did the same when I saw the statue. I knew it was familiar but didn't realize the resemblance until I uploaded the photo

Icy, I love him too, even as a lion statue :D

Catherine, I hope the rain did not hinder your plans. Did you get to see the gardens?
