I love taking the moon too. I was testing the zoom at different lengths. Sometimes they come out and sometimes they don't. I got lucky on these. Thanks Ann :)

I don't know how I missed this post...and, of course, having the photos with Miss Sony singing this song have me jiggling at 11:44PM. I think I'm going to have to fix myself a little cocktail and play it again. Wish we were at the Plush Room or Jazz at Pearl's or even Cafe Divine.

I miss you.
Your moon pictures are just fantastic! My camera couldn't come this close. :-(

Carmen, Yes I wish I were at those spots as well. I really miss the Plush Room, it was my favorite spot in SF. Miss you too, get better so we can go horse trailer hunting :D

Icy, It took me many tries to get these shots, believe me. I was lucky that the moon cooperated that evening.

Tes, thanks, yeah it's pretty cool.

I just took some moon shots the other night myself! I found a tutorial online and it wasn't nearly as difficult as I had thought. All those other times I think I was trying too hard! lol!
Amazing photos. I've been trying to take shots of the moon for a while and I can appreciate how tricky it is.

My favourite phase is the crescent moon, the shadows highlight the craters nicely :-)

Kass, thanks so much.

Diane, thanks, I thought it was a good fit.

Angies LOL I know what you mean, thank you.

John, I remember a shot you took not long ago that just blew me away. That was the shot that inspired me to get one no matter how hard and long I tried. Thanks.
