There's an Edward Scissorhands in your neighborhood?
Sometimes a bonzai approach is all you can do with the growth of some bushes.

What a well trimmed Bonzai! I love how they grown neatly against the plain white wall, so neat!
It's pretty amazing at the shapes people can prune their plants into. It looks like a bonsai artist lives there!

I've recently discovered that I really like those little Bonsai trees. I always did, but I never noticed before. Kind of weird.
Wow.I have never seen such a big bonsai before.

Great photos! What a blessing to live in a neighborhood with such a tidy well tended garden!
Are bonsai hard to grow/ take care?

Growing up...my Grandparents lived in a primarily Japanese neighborhood, so I've seen those most of my life and I can tell if they have a Japanese gardener, by how the shrubs are cut and how precise it is trimmed. Thank you for sharing this...it really warmed my heart.

It's good to see these topiary while walking. Lucky you to have a nice neighborhood. It takes some investments to maintain topiary plants.

I love the little tiny bonsais that fit into little tiny plates that you can actually fit into your pocket! Have you seen those before?? :)
