Thanksgiving is a day for recalling fond memories of days gone by and being thankful for each one of them and the people who shared them.

I start each day with a prayer thanking God for another chance to enjoy all that life has to offer.

Hoping you have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is to acknowledge the things that give meaning to our lives. And there are so many reasons for us to give thanks inspite of the daily hustle and bustle of life. I only wish I was able to verbally express my thanks to people who does this immediately. I sometimes get too choked for words to do it.

To me Thanksgiving is a time to be surrounded by family and friends, a time for reflection and love.

I try to appreciate all I see and all those I meet.

1) It means family time to me Jo. Since I wasn't born here, but you know I consider the US my home. However, there is also a bit of a disconnect with the culture differences, even though we try to adapt. We try to gather on this day, to give thanks to what we have and to celebrate each other.
2) I often try to remember god in all my blessings everyday. Making sure that all my gifts are appreciated, that I should not take anything for granted. I am here, and I am thankful for everything I have always. As such, I have made friends like you.
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here but I do have a lot to thank about starting with my great family! And new friends I found online and all the opportunities blogging has opened for me!

we don't have Thanksgiving in the Philippines but we have our ways of celebrating and giving thanks. Thanksgiving is a celebration of the blessings we have received and recognize the difference we make on each other's lives.

i pray every night before closing my eyes to thank God for everything He made possible.

This is the first time in many years that I haven't written a poem for Thanksgiving...just too busy this year, too many things going on medically and otherwise...but I think most people who know me realize how much I value my family and friends hither and yon, old and new, from all over the globe. They have always meant so much to me,but even more so in the many months now that I have been without my job which left me feeling so bereft. I could not have endured if I hadn't had the support of all of them.
