Watery Wednesday - Rockaway Beach

Rockaway beach is located in Pacifica, California just a few miles south of San Francisco. It is a charming and quaint spot for visitors to the area. The beach is spectacular even on foggy and misty days like what is shown in these photos. For me, the fog adds an element to the scenes which just enhances the overall beauty. Enjoy the photos and make sure to check out the short video clip at the end of this post. Thank you.

A short video clip I took of Rockaway Beach.

Beautiful shots, that is the kind of beach I love. From Northern CA up to the central OR coast are some of my favorite beaches.

It is a beautiful beach watch, and must be good to dip inside the water.

Standing here at the peak(just imagining) and look down and look far....
We are here to stop and ponder, also to observe the most beautiful stillness and charm produced by the nature!

Love this gorgeous picturescape. I really can connect with you, I stand in high place before to adore the waves, rock...

Thanks friend!

Beautiful! Looks like my kind of a moody beach day. One of these days I'm going to drive up the coast and see many of those beaches along the way.

these are very beautiful Jo, I always love "rocky ocean", for me it has more depth and character than just sand and sand.

Hi Jo,

It's nice to see these shots as I sit at Alex's computer in West Sac. I've had a nice visit...will be home tomorrow. I tried to get him to come look at the photos and video since he spent so much time here at Rockaway but he is intensely involved in his calculus homework and says I'll have to show him later! You know, his first job was at a beautiful Korean - Japanese restaurant here at Rockaway - he was a high school freshman.
