Betchai, I have no idea but I came across them while in the gardens.
Ann, No clue but I think from now on I am going to explore each garden within the gardens at one visit so I can jot down names etc... Otherwise, I just go snap happy :D
I went to a lovely Mother's Day brunch at the Burlingame Hyatt with my friend, Elaine and her family. Got to hear Margie Baker sing though the acoustics is not good in that huge room. You have to be sitting up close to really hear her. The best thing I got for this Mother's Day was a daughter, thanks to my son's wedding!

oh wow, what kind of a flower is this Jo, very interesting and unique, love the colors and the ruffled petals.
How unique. I'm also curious about what type of flower that is. Very pretty
Oh my, so delightful, flowers all decked out with streamers!

Diane, a floral celebration for Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms. Love the flowers, wow. They look like they have been shredded with scissors. So odd.
Cinnamon, thank you and to you as well.
Ancient, They do huh? I'm going to have to take a trip back to find out exactly what they are. There are many exotic species in the gardens.
A very beautiful flower. They looks like Hawaiian skirts! :D Happy Mother's Day Jo!
Happy Mother's day to all the mom's out there! That is an intriguing flower!
