Hi Jo, it resembles the tiny fencing at the end of the woods, just as it opens to a path. . .
I like how the tree stumps are used to border the path..

The first picture looks like several places where I've taken pictures along my trails. I love the way it looks. Those stumps would make a good border for a nice little trail.

Little seats where the dwarves gather round for their moonlit serenades!!! :)

Your photos are lovely and a bit romantic...but around here, this looks kinda' like our wood pile in progress! We have big logs waiting to be split. And larger lengths needing to be cut up...ahhhh, life on the farm!
This reminds me of a cool garden idea I saw on tv the other day, a stumpery. The lady had huge stumps everywhere with ferns and things growing out of them. Very cool.

those tree stumps look like personal guards of the plants. they seem over-protective huh?!

Salitype, I agree they are charming little seats :)

Ayie, exactly, an extreme trunk makeover

Bankchick, it truly is and thanks for stopping by.

rainfield, I agree with you.

bessye, it leads to more of the same.

Tes, yes, and thanks for reading and commenting.

Icy, I do too, I found it very interesting.

Ratty, they really would and I think that is what they are working on at the gardens. They still have over a month of renovations.

C, you hit it just right. That is exactly what's going on there :)

Will Oaks, I would love to experience a little life on a farm since I was born and raised in the city.

Jennifer, I think it's pretty cool as well. It's different which I like. Thnks for coming by.

Cher, They do, I never thought of it that way but you are right :)

Buggys, Absolutely, thank you.

I can see little ones, laughing and sitting on the stumps, or perhaps fairies on a moonlit night.
