Photos courtesy of ABC News and the San Francisco Giants First, congratulations to our San Francisco Giants for making it to the World Series.  First game tonight, Wednesday October 24th in San Francisco at AT&T Park. The city is hyped with excitement over our Giants being in the world series.  Everyone is decked out in orange and black, the team colors, including many of our landmark buildings like the Ferry Building and Coit Tower.  We love our baseball here and have loyal fans around the entire bay area. My two questions this week are: 1.  What is your favorite sport to watch? 2..  Do you prefer watching a game on the big screen either at home or in a bar or would you rather be at the stadium? Taken in the financial district in downtown San Francisco. I was raised catholic and grew up attending catholic grammar school.  As a result, we went to church each Sunday and as a young child I was religious in that I believed in God and everything we were taught as catholic students. As I grew older, I began reading the bible at one point in time and realized that not only did I no longer believe in catholicism but I no longer wanted to be a part of that religion.  There were many factors that drove me to that decision and for years now,  I've not practiced any religion.  I, however, do tend to gravitate towards Buddhist teachings. I know this is a controversial subject and that's why I chose it for two questions meme. 1.  Do you believe in God? 2.  Do you and your family practice a certain religion? Stargazer lily taken at the San Francisco Botanical Garden As you all know I love flowers.  I admit I don't know all their names but I am slowly learning.  My favorite flowers are lilies and in particular the Oriental Trumpet lily which is very similar to the Stargazer lily which is shown in the above photo.  I took this shot yesterday in the garden and was just mesmerized not only by the beauty of this flower but by the scent. This week I have not only a question for you, just one question but a giveaway as well.
