As you all know my love for waffles is an obsession. It must run in the family because my cousin has the same obsession. As a result. we have decided to create a new blog devoted to, yes you've guessed correctly - Waffles!

The blog will feature our journey through San Francisco, the Bay Area and beyond to bring you waffle reviews, recipes, articles etc... We plan to eat our way through any and every establishment that serves waffles. What fun! I like waffles, but I'm thinking maybe not so much as you. We make out own at home and put on various toppings/syrups. I make a killer dandelion syrup.

I love this idea! I think waffles are my mom's favorite thing to cook. She used to love making waffles for us when I was a kid. She still constantly talks about her love of waffles.

I have wonderful waffle memories and I too love the crunchy outer part, the smooth and delicious inside squares and gooy honey with strawberries on all. Making my mouth water, just thinking of them.

Though we are not suppose to feed the squirrels at the gardens, it is always something I enjoy. After all, they do need "good eats" every once in a while. This particular day I brought honey roasted nuts. There were not as many squirrels around as usual, maybe because of the hot weather. So, when I found this little guy in one of the demonstration gardens I decided to let him have the entire bag. He was a bit afraid of me at first but when I piled the nuts in front of him we became instant friends. He even let me take a short video clip of him which you can see below. He was a cutie.
