I know you are from the US, but i thought banksias are only in Australia. So maybe you went there or i guess there are gardens in the US planted to plants from other countries. I miss this banksia, and your shot is so lovely. You love poems, but i love photos more! haha

such beautiful unique flowers wonderfully captured! I have never seen them in person yet and I am amazed at the details especially on the second photo...God indeed is the best designer :)
