What a surprise - skyscrapers only in the certain area of the city.
Your city-county has almost the same population as Helsinki Metropolitan Area...

Thanks for sharing... never been to San Fran! I have family near there but we never seem to make it to that side of town. Looks lovely.

The first time I saw the view from Twin Peaks I was on a date. I lived in the Mission at that time and was stunned that people actually lived that nicely. SF has some really intresting characteristics. The city is really funny how you can just turn one corner and be in a fancy area then turn another corner and be in the ghetto. But no matter where you live, you always see something new that you have never seen before. Even if you've walked down that street a zillion times! I miss the Bay. Glad I am coming to visit in 2 weeks!!

San Francisco is such a pretty city. So big though. A small town girl like me would very likely get lost quite easily :)
These are all so fantastic to see, Jo! It's amazing to see the houses and buildings like this. Hope you are feeling better.

Great shots...somewhat like the ones I'll post in a little while. I'm so behind, Jo! Still not feeling the best. Hope you're on the mend.
Sigh...I want to visit your pretty city!

I really enjoyed these views of your beautiful city. I've never been to San Francisco, but I feel more familiar with it through your awesome pictures.
I have to get back there sometime soon. I have a very dear friend who lives in Santa Cruz. He comes to FL once a year, so usually don't travel to see him, since he comes to my side of the world already. Thanks for the trip!

I never get tired of the views. Never. No matter how many times I see them, they always take my breath away.
the sky is so blue, it's such a mice compliment to your website.
Thanks for sharing the wonderful place of San Francisco. Made me cherish more the memories about that place during my 2008 visit
