Sunset Over Victoria Harbor In Hong Kong

And the sun retreats

high aglow orange canvas

where I’ve seen this same glow

half a world away

on a different horizon.

And the daylight verbiage

quelled by deafening quiet

whispers secrets

to passerby clouds

never remembered.

And the harbour bids

“farewell Sun Goddess”

drowning in darkness

gently awaiting

a symphony of lights.

Until we meet again…

That's a stunning photograph. Did you take it yourself? A sweet passage, too.

Sitehopped, Redditted and Stumbled. :)

Hi jodapoet,
Stunning photo!I loved how you reminisced the point of distant skies. Brought me back to my own distant skies...very nice job. I loved it.

Hindle - Thank you, yes I took 100's of photos while in Hong Kong. My poor camera :) And thanks for stumbles and Reddits.

Robert - Thanks so much.

bessye - I'm so glad you enjoyed the post. Thank you.
