It is located along Hollywood Boulevard and is the center of attention. Although it houses restaurants and retail shops, I see it as much more than your average mall. It is an open air complex which I really like. The retail shops and restaurants surround the main complex from the plaza area up to the second and third floors which you can visit by taking either the stairs or escalator on the far sides of the center. The plaza area is complete with some small retail kiosks and a small fountain to cool you during those Summer months. What really fascinated me about this center is all of the intricate artwork as you can see detailed in these photos. The artwork and sculptures are amazing. I walked around for about an hour just snapping shots of the creative artistry. I don't know the history but when you walk up the entrance sta

Wonderful photos of so many critters!
It is because its hands are too short to rub the back.
My son told me this joke.
Blessings!
Great photos!
Those look like my darling Galapagos penguins. That's how my husband got me to the islands, and got us started continent-hopping. "There are penguins," he said. So I went.
Thanks for a very interesting post. And thanks for visiting my blog. I do love to have visitors.

This white alligator is special, I admit, but I still don't like them. The penguins are very cute instead.
Eileen, thanks he wears his age well :)
Ann, as much as I am deathly afraid of alligators, I have to admit he is a cutie.
Carmen, yes, he bathes regularly :) There are even more creepy ones than what I've posted. There was a python that I couldn't even look at, much less take a photo.
Thanks Mumsy, he enjoyed his birthday
Rainfield lol :D I can see where your son get his personality - you are both hysterical.
Dimple, If I remember correctly, Claude hasn't been here that long. I forgot where he came from but it's not been that long. Thanks for visiting.
Cassiopeia, yeah he is pretty rare and I think that's why everyone likes him so much. Thanks for stopping by.
ladyfi, :) he is all three things you've mentioned
Kay, they are from the Galapagos Islands. I love watching them though they draw a huge crowd so it's difficult to get close. Thanks for visiting.
maiaT. I don't like alligators either but I love Claude. Of course if he were out of his habitat and near me, I wouldn't be loving him at all :) Penguins are favorites of mine as well
NikkiAn, yes they are pretty cool looking.
Self, he is very rare and from what I understand, there aren't many of them out there.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Love the other photos, too. Camera Critters personified!
I don't think they have any alligators though.
