You're so good at taking shots, Joanne. The first photo is perfect. The second one is my favourite because it seems you achieved exactly the effect you were looking for, with the bird like a brush mixing colors on water. I love the turtle. I have a similar style when I sunbath :D
Water critters are some of my favorites. Ducks and geese have always fascinated me, and turtles are my favorite reptile. The pictures are great. I can never get enough of looking at these creatures.
