They all look gorgeous! Love the zebra taking a snooze shot and the play of shadows over the bobcat photo...the giraffe makes me want to turn into a vegetarian again :-)

I love to visit the zoo. Love the bobcat! My favorite is the giraffe -- have a soft spot in my heart for the giraffe! Look at that lazy zebra! :D :D Happy Critter Day!

I do not know of many times I have seen a giraffe up close...the head has very different hair from neck and body.

Great pictures.....S.F. Zoo is one of the best, as far as space and habitats for it's captures....I think all American zoos are getting better about this, but in so many developing countries, not so....

Though we are not suppose to feed the squirrels at the gardens, it is always something I enjoy. After all, they do need "good eats" every once in a while. This particular day I brought honey roasted nuts. There were not as many squirrels around as usual, maybe because of the hot weather. So, when I found this little guy in one of the demonstration gardens I decided to let him have the entire bag. He was a bit afraid of me at first but when I piled the nuts in front of him we became instant friends. He even let me take a short video clip of him which you can see below. He was a cutie.
